* Requires the IEEE member’s valid ID number.
** Students must send a copy of their valid student card.

IMPORTANT:

  • Each paper must have at least one (1) non-student registration for it to be presented at SMAP 2024. As long as one of the authors of the paper registers as, either an IEEE Member, or a Full (Non-Member), then any student author(s) can register additionally at student pricing. However, if a student author is the sole SMAP 2024 attendee for that paper, or if all the paper authors are students, then that student should register at Full (Non-Member) rate/price.
  • Receipts/Invoices
    All registration fees are subject to plain receipts. In case of invoice issuing please note that a 24% VAT surcharge applies to all registration types and must be paid on top of the selected registration type. In case of not indicating a specific request for an invoice during the registration process, the workshop secretariat will automatically issue a plain receipt (default option) without any surcharge.
  • Authors with more than one paper, will be charged with one regular registration plus 180€ per additional paper.
  • Papers longer than 6 pages will be charged by an extra publication fee of 90€ per page.
  • Registration fees include one (1) digital copy of the SMAP 2024 proceedings and cover admission to all workshop sessions.

Terms & Conditions

Methods of payment

SMAP 2024 registration payments are supported by the Greek Computer Society (EPY/GCS), 20 Spyrou Trikoupis Str., Athens 106 83, Tel. +302155051398, email: epy@epy.gr.

Payments can be made either by bank transfer or secure online credit card, as shown below.

A bank transfer payment must be confirmed manually by the organization chairs in order for papers to be included in the proceedings and receipt/invoice to be issued. Secure online credit card payments will be automatically confirmed.

Cancellation & refunds

Any cancellation of registration must be notified by e-mail to the General Chair. The following cancellation policies will apply:

  • Cancellation before October 20th, 2024 – full refund
  • Cancellation on or after October 20th, 2024 – no refund.

Privacy Policy

All data submitted during SMAP 2024 registration process is used only to process your registration and as a result we do not collect or store any personal information. Moreover, we do not share any of your details with other companies/organizations/web-sites.

The 19th International Workshop on Semantic and Social Media Adaptation and Personalization (SMAP 2024) will be held in Athens, Greece on November 21-22, 2024, will be technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) and IEEE Greece Section, and will be co-organized by the ΑΤΗΕΝΑ Research and Innovation Centre, Greek Computer Society (EPY/GCS), and University of West Attica.
